Banners aren't used as much these days as they were 10 years back and for good reason. They can take a long time to load on a page, especially if you have a page full of them, and google now, so I've heard, grades your page load time. The faster your page loads the better for the overall Page Rank.

Banners, not to be confused with a header (the top graphic image on a web page), is used mostly to link to another site or to get a site visitor to visit another site for some reason. On most of my sites you'll see few banners, but I do place them on pages that need some color or art.

Our banners start at $10.00, but flash banners will cost more, depending on the details involved in the design. Banners are used, normally, as a linking graphic to your site, but they can also be used like an ad, to offer specials, discounds, or changes in the services of products.
